Our acrylic block energy options include E3 Triple Glazed for improved u-value and insulation, an excellent choice for northern climates; SunBlock, which features a tinted outside face that reduces solar heat gain, a popular choice for Southern locales; and E3 Triple Glazed SunBlock which combines both options for ultimate energy-efficiency, providing both u-value improvement and reduced solar heat gain.

All U S Block Windows are manufactured in the United States for complete quality control and reliability. Skilled artisans assemble and glaze each window into sturdy frames by hand - windows arrive on time, as ordered. As part of our quality control program, 16-lb. weights are dropped on our blocks and on our competitor blocks from controlled heights. The results have shown U S Block Windows to be superior in quality and impact resistant test after test.

Unmatched Strength
We've been asked how strong can an acrylic window be. Our fixed picture windows are probably the strongest in the home. All of our windows are AAMA certified and many of our fixed picture windows are HC - Heavy Commercial rated, designed for use in high wind coastal zones. The strength of our windows is primarily due to the design of our patented TRIO interlocking blocks with overlapping flanges, which allows for expansion and contraction, and enables a "telescoping" effect between blocks when the block window is under severe wind conditions. Once snapped together, the blocks become a single contiguous panel, much like an insulated glass unit. This interlocking flange design allows the wind load against the glazing to radiate out to the frame evenly, continuously and directly. This patented design combined with our impact modified acrylic resin makes our block windows far stronger than many others currently available.

Installer and Service-Friendly
If an entire block window or multiple blocks are destroyed by construction damage or other abuse, our windows feature a unique drop glaze design to enable easy block panel replacement which can be serviced like any insulated glass window.

The replacement blocks are factory sealed in a vinyl-banded panel. The damaged block window panel can be unsealed and removed from the existing window frame, and then the new block replacement panel installed directly into the existing frame. This is accomplished without the window frame itself ever having to be removed from the opening. And, scratches can easily be buffed out with the Novus polish repair kit.
